What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for love. Love is a complex thing. It's not always something that makes you happy. But it holds human life together. Others giving me their love has helped me through every difficult time in my life. I may have not a penny in the world, but I can always give my love. I have struggled with love in the past. Once I start to love it is difficult to stop. It is difficult for me to start loving on a deep level, which does save some pain, but since not loving seems, for lack of a better term, heartless, I try to show love in little ways to even strangers. I may not have to have a deep and meaningful relationship with all I meet, but I can show love by holding open a door for someone with their hands full or pushing a stroller or wheelchair, or in a wheelchair themselves. I can show love by sharing with others. I can spread love without having to leave myself vulnerable, because I have a never ending store of love. I need not and cannot pour it all into one person. I will never be poor of love.
